Valued Landscapes
Overview
As considerations of landscape value and quality will involve a degree of subjective opinion it helps if there is consensus on the attributes that may be seen as important. To assist a discussion on the Mendip area consideration has been given to a potential list of ‘Special Characteristics’ of the area. These are set out in the list below and were presented as a key part of the consultation process for the draft study.
